Home > Surfside Jetty County Park

Brazoria County Parks Department opened Surfside Jetty County Park to the public in December 1993. The park is open daily and has been a very popular destination for many visitors from Brazoria and surrounding counties.

Fronting the Gulf of Mexico this park is uniquely located at the jetties on the south end of CR 257 (Bluewater Hwy.) in Surfside Texas.  This beach park has many features to offer...such as playground area, restrooms, pavilion rental, picnic tables, volleyball courts, fishing from a mile long jetty, surfing, and breathe taking views of the Intracoastal waterway...along with the newest addition two overnight air-conditioned cabins!

Entrance to the day-use area is free or you can make reservations in one of our new cabins for an overnight stay. Bring your family and friends, fishing poles, a picnic lunch & enjoy a relaxing day or night at the park. Or if cooking outdoors is a favorite, you may just want to use one of many individual covered picnic tables & barbeque grills that are available throughout the park. Call or come by & meet our friendly staff to see what we have to offer!!
