Brazoria County Parks
Department opened "Resoft County Park"
to the public on September 1, 1995.
This 80 acre park is one of our most
popular day parks. It is located
just north of Alvin off CR 281 and Hwy
35. The park is open from 8 am to
10 pm daily. Entrance to this
day-use park is free and has much to
offer. For the avid picnickers,
Resoft County Park offers both large and
small covered pavilions, with picnic
tables and outdoor grills that are
available for rental. The park has
its very on lake for a relaxing day of
recreational fishing or just lounging by
the water. It also features one of
the counties largest custom designed
playgrounds along with softball and
soccer fields, horseshoe pits,
basketball and volleyball courts.
This park was designed with recreation
in mind.
So if you haven't been to your
